| What a wonderful feeling I had leaving the Duluth Town Green today.
I wouldn't have traded that opportunity for anything. The sparkle
in the eyes of those children with their contagious laughter and
smiles are still with me and will remain in my heart forever. How
fortunate our society is to be blessed with people like yourself
and your Mother who devote your lives for such an awesome cause.
I am impressed by your organization and team of volunteers that
brought together an event like today. It is beyond question that
the children had a blast! _____________________________________________________________________________ 4/12/2006 FCF _____________________________________________________________________________ Hi Suzanne, We all had so much fun at camp All American . We got to go kuneuing. We got to rock clim. We also got to play fribe golf. We also got to do arschere. We all made beraclets. Swiming was cool to & bibble time was cool to. From foster children that the FCF sponsored for summer camps. _____________________________________________________________________________ I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the support that you have continually provided for Timothy. Most recently, Suzanne Geske began teaching Timothy guitar when he expressed an interest in learning to play. Then Clay Smith, a student volunteer got involved and not only provided a guitar lesson for Timothy, but arranged for him to get a brand new guitar!!! This means a lot to Timothy and me. Beyond the fact that music is important for kids is the fact that Timothy has trouble expressing his feelings. Playing the guitar will provide a more comfortable, less threatening way for him to let some of these feelings out. Thank you, foster children's foundation, for all you do for the children in care! _____________________________________________________________________________
Just wanted to let you know that the kids had a wonderful time at camp last week. It was quite an experience for all three of them. They thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and are asking to go next year! They made lots of new friends and learned so many new things. Thanks so much for EVERYTHING you do for us. You're the best! _____________________________________________________________________________ I wanted to let you know how much working as a volunteer with the Foster Children’s Foundation has meant to me. Since I have participated in working the concessions, helping at the clothing center and other events I have met many wonderful volunteers and feel my contributions are helping a good cause. Your organization has given me something to look forward to and cherish. You have started a wonderful project to help foster children and I want to wish you all the success you strive for. B White _____________________________________________________________________________ Dear Foster Children’s
Foundation: Thank you so much for caring and taking the time to
help the Foster Children. We went to the Easter Egg hunt this
year and the kids enjoyed it so much. Thank you for everything
you do. _____________________________________________________________________________ All I wanted to do one Saturday was drop off some of my children’s clothes for your organization. After talking with you I realized there was more that I could do. Our family has decided to make your organization our project this year. Our kids ages 8, 10 and 12 now think about others and often say to me that they will put some of their allowance away so by next Christmas they can buy a toy for a Foster Child. NAMAR’s Summer Daze Trade Show On Saturday, April 24, 2004, The Community Service Committee of NAMAR (Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors®) will host “Summer Daze” a trade show for kids (infant through teen) at the Gwinnett Civic Center. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to parents and children through vendor booths about activities in our area for youth of all ages. We are pleased to announce that our community service committee met today and unanimously voted the Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc. to be sole beneficiary of this event. In addition to the numerous ways this event will be promoted we would like to video the upcoming picnic, interview some of the children, volunteers and founders of the Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc. to help get the word about the needs of the foundation, the foster children and promote the event. In addition to event
sponsors, we will have three levels of sponsorship: We already have several booths reserved. Wells Fargo Mortgage Corporation is our event sponsor. Key Source Realty of Suwanee has already committed to a level-2 sponsorship, and has donated their booth space to the Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc. Our Realtors® strongly believe in what the Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc. is doing and are looking forward to building a strong, lasting relationship. We are looking forward to changing the lives of foster children in our community by partnering with the Foundation to raise public awareness and help resolve the many needs of the foster children in our community. Please have any of your
associates interested in participating contact us right away as
these spaces are going fast. Please call NAMAR’s Summer
Daze Event Co-Chairs, Susan Sentner at 770-596-0110 or Cody A.
