Suzanne Geske
(Founder)

Suzanne has a Management degree and diverse background, over 24 years of experience in the fields of Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Customer Service. She worked for Rockwell International for 10 years as a Senior Accountant in the Saudi Division. Later she started and owned a successful Marketing company in Texas. In 1993 when transferred to Georgia, she founded “Outsourcing Specialists” a marketing company bringing the concept of a “Total Marketing Solution” to the consumer.

In addition to speaking engagements and presentations, Suzanne has done Motivational and Sales training for large companies in the Atlanta area and helped employees learn to “work as a team”, get the job done, have fun, achieve company goals and increase profits.

Suzanne Geske, a successful businesswoman in her own right made the decision in 2000 to fulfill her dream to help foster Children. In February 2003 she founded the Foster Children’s Foundation (FCF) setting aside her career goals to serve the community where she thought she could be the most beneficial.

Suzanne’s efforts started with the Coalition for Health and Human Services, Annual Great Day of Service where she organized a volunteer effort of business leaders to provide foster children with a huge picnic. This is a fun day where they can all get together in a safe atmosphere, play games, meet celebrities, win prizes with lots of good food. In addition, this event provided an opportunity for siblings who were separated into different homes the chance to spend quality time together. The volunteers had a ball and decided they wanted to work with the children in an on-going basis. Many commented on how meaningful there experience was and how much it meant to them to make a difference in the life of children less fortunate.

Suzanne began laying the groundwork by talking with all of people of all walks whose lives impacted foster children to determine areas of need. The next step was to establish a dynamic Board of Directors who is passionate about helping these children. With the help of many, The Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc. was founded and is recognized as a 501c3 non profit organization.

She is an active member of several organizations including The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Duluth Merchants Association, Suwanee Business Alliance, Executive Roundtable for Non profits and is associated with many others. She is a graduate of the 2003-2004 Leadership Gwinnett Program and was Ambassador of the year for the Gwinnett Chamber in 2002. She sits on the Board of Directors for Gwinnett County Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS), The Coalition for Health and Human Services and Civitan.

Suzanne actively mentors many individuals, companies and youth. She has done extensive work on projects with the foster children. The Foster Children’s Foundation’s office is located in Duluth along with the “Clothing and Needs Center” that provides children with clothing, hygiene products, school supplies and other needed items at no cost.

One of her many goals, is to make a positive impact on every life she meets, allowing her to enjoy the reward of knowing that she has helped someone grow, become successful or improve their quality of life.
