Foster Family Announcements
September 2006
- Resource Center is open by appointment to families with new
children entering home, new foster parents, emergency situations, and once a month for Open Houses.
Resource Center will not be open by appointment the week prior to Open Houses.

- ANNUAL PICNIC 2007- Watch for annoucments about the
2007 Annual Picnic for foster children & families
- "Tomorrow Matters" Mentoring Program- The "Tomorrow Matters" Mentoring Program is designed to
teach youth in foster care necessary life skills needed to help improve their quality of life,
prepare them for their future in becoming independent adults, help them to reach their potential,
and raise their self esteem, because TOMORROW MATTERS. Currently, the "Tomorrow Matters" Mentoring
Program focuses on foster teens that are between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. Sessions
are currently held once a month on a Saturday from 10am-2pm. If you have a teen in your home
that would benefit
from this valuable program, please contact us for more details.

about opportunities available for your children, special
events, and items available, please contact us to be added to
the Foster Parent Email Database! We cannot regularly call all families
regarding opportunities, so email is the best way to keep yourself updated!
***Please note that the items available at the FCF Resource Center
are dependant upon availability. We do our best to keep the items
in stock, but we cannot guarantee that specific items that you may
need will be available. If we do not have an item (hygiene product,
clothing) that you are in need of, please let us know and we will
do our best to provide that item for you at the next Open House.
